Unlike my commercial design and digital work, these pieces are created through a physical process of drawing, carving, inking and hand-printing each design.
The work explores illustration through the limitations and imperfections of traditional printmaking, where the texture of the carved block and the printing process become part of the finished image.
The project provides an outlet for hands-on experimentation with physical media and reflects a more personal side of my creative practice.
